Since launch, this is what CalVal discounts cost partner restaurants and what members paid on the spot. These are not extra sales: we never measured any restaurant's takings without CalVal, and we will not pretend otherwise.

You can pause whenever you want
A switch in your partner account takes your restaurant out of the app. No notice, no need to tell us, and you turn it back on the same way.

You stay free to work with anyone else. CalVal asks for exclusivity on nothing.

Every one of these is something you can check from your partner account. There is nothing to sign.
What happens next
We read every listing before it goes live, usually within 48 hours. You get an email the moment your restaurant is visible in the app and on calval.app.

- What does CalVal cost a restaurant?
- Nothing. Signing up is free, there is no subscription, and no commission is taken on your sales. No card details are asked for.
- What discount do I have to give?
- You set it. Most partners give 10%, and you can choose whether it covers the whole menu or only part of it. You can change it whenever you like from your partner account.
- Do I need any hardware?
- No. The customer's code scans from a phone or tablet you already have. Nothing plugs into your till.
- How long does signing up take?
- A few minutes: an account, then three screens about your restaurant. Our team then checks your listing, usually within 48 hours, before it goes live.
- What if CalVal is not in my city yet?
- You can still sign up if your city is on the list. If it is not, tell us where you are: that is what decides the next city we open.
- Who are CalVal members?
- People who earn their meals by moving: walking, sport, everyday activity. They come with a discount they have already earned, not a coupon they stumbled on.
